Kambo Ceremony

A Kambo ceremony is a ritualistic and healing practice originating from the Amazon rainforest, where participants receive the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog, through small burns on the skin. The ceremony is led by a trained practitioner who applies the substance to the burns, typically located on the upper arm or lower leg. Within minutes, Kambo induces intense physical effects such as rapid heartbeat, heart in the skin, clearing of the senses followed by a short period of purging. Kambo is like a natural vaccination. It cleanses the body of toxins and negative energies. Participants often experience a heightened sense of awareness and emotional release during the process.

09

temazcal ceremony

A Temazcal ritual, rooted in ancient Mesoamerican traditions, is a ceremonial steam bath that symbolizes rebirth and purification. Participants enter a small, dome-shaped structure made of bamboo and covered in fabric, representing the womb of Mother Earth. Inside, heated volcanic rocks are doused with medicinal herbs and water to produce steam, creating intense heat and humidity. Led by a guide or shaman, participants engage in prayers, songs, and rituals designed to promote physical detoxification and spiritual connection with the natural elements and ancestral traditions.

A sacred ritual guided by experienced shamans, deeply rooted in indigenous Amazonian traditions. Participants gather in a specially prepared ceremonial space called the Maloca. The ceremony begins with the curandero (facilitator) invoking the spirits of the plants and guides, followed by the distribution of Ayahuasca, a brew made from capi vine and chacruna leaves. Throughout the night, participants drink the brew and engage in deep introspection, while the Ayahuasca facilitates spiritual visions, emotional release, and profound insights. The group dynamic enhances the collective energy, fostering a sense of unity and shared experience among participants as they navigate their individual healing and spiritual journeys.

Hapé ceremony

A Hapé ceremony is a sacred ritual practiced by indigenous tribes in Brazil. A powdered tobacco mixed with medicinal plants is administered by blowing it gently into each nostril of the participant with a special pipe. This process is believed to connect us with our ancestors, cleanse the mind, body, and spirit, promote clarity, grounding, and spiritual connection. My diet with Katari Center has been a wonderful experience. The land is beautiful and people working there are the best. I found exactly what I needed. I managed to leave heavy emotional baggage in the forest and walked out with a feeling of freedom and lightness. Working with the plants is like a therapy, an open door on yourself, a new vision of life. The plants showed me my strength and gave me guidance. I feel blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity to live such a special moment in the forest. I'll always be grateful to Herbert and Acacia whom are so caring and made everything easy for me.
